Roots Reggaeband Consciousness is een heerlijke en één van de betere reggae bands die Nederland rijk is. De bandleden van Consciousness zijn voornamelijk afkomstig uit Helmond en omgeving. Consciousness weet het publiek altijd aan het dansen te krijgen met een traditionele mix van roots en reggae met een spiritueel tintje.
Started as a group in Helmond 1997 and wrote our own songs of the heart. The materials we put together are about every day life all of the good and bad times.Our inspiration comes from personal,general living and all that is happening in the world around us. Roots reggae is our style and the last few years we were able to bring out three (3) cd’s . In 2007 CHANGES, in 2008 OUR GOD IS ONE’and in 2009 FOLLOW THE RABBI. Our message is: center on LOVE, JOY, PEACE, RESPECT, ONENESS, TOGETHERNESS, and FREEDOM.
