Met gepaste trots presenteren wij de absoluut meest waanzinnige line-up die we tot nu toe met Popronde hebben gehad, al zeggen we het zelf:

Om 19:15 kickt Politie Warnsveld af met hun ska-punkband die met opgefokte energie en een dikke middelvinger naar pretentie iedereen genadeloos uit z’n comfortzone ramt. Ze ontketenen moshpits met popnummers en dampende feesten die voelen als protest. Zonder ironie, mét oprechte chaos.
Met hun unieke mix van pop, ska-punk en expressionistische waanzin groeiden ze in rap tempo uit tot de belangrijkste bijzaak van de Nederlandse muziek. Frontman Joris van de Waterbeemd, gitarist Emile Salentijn, toetsenist Olivier Pot en bassist Hidde Hendriks geven een stem aan wie zoekt naar een alternatief voor de wanhoop van nu.
Om 20:30 neemt Warbuhl het over – een Nederlandse Nederhip-popformatie uit Utrecht, bestaande uit vijf vrienden met een gezamenlijk doel: muziek maken waar je blij van wordt. Hun optredens kenmerken zich door energieke beats, aanstekelijke grooves en poëtische teksten, wat resulteert in muziek die zowel opzwepend als aanstekelijk is, met als resultaat dat men dagenlang spierpijn heeft.
Om 22:00 is het aan Fellatio: Een zelfverklaard Avant-Garde Disco Punk Post-Penis Krautpop-trio.
Een van de nieuwste projecten afkomstig uit havenstad Rotterdam. Ze voegen zich bij acts als Snapped Ankles en Fat White Family in het tonen dat Krautrock in de 21e eeuw nog steeds een spannende aangelegenheid kan zijn. Ze trekken ook parallellen met Britse tijdgenoten als Fat Dog en Warmduscher, en bouwen een reputatie op met extravagante en ongeremde optredens en nummers die even poëtisch als pulserend zijn. Bestaat er eigenlijk een band waar zowel fans van The Fall als van de Venga Boys in gelijke mate van kunnen genieten? Dacht het wel.
Daarna om 23:15 niemand minder dan M2K: Een live dance duo van Marnix Bausch (producer) en Sam Kemner (drummer). Ze spelen 90’s underground-dancemuziek geïnspireerd door The Chemical brothers/soulwax. Marnix produceert zijn songs vanuit de chaos die er in zijn hoofd ontstaat door zijn ADHD. Op deze manier probeert hij een wereld te creëren voor de dromers die zichzelf verloren voelen.
Om de dansvloer warm te houden wordt Na M2K om 00:15 het stokje overgenomen door Hædon; Een sonische verhalenverteller & selector die de dansvloer omtovert tot droomlandschappen. Bekend om zijn cerebrale benadering van minimal en techno, heeft Hædon jarenlang aan zijn craft gewerkt via vele clubs en festivals, die zowel zijn technische vaardigheden als diepe muzikale intuïtie hebben aangescherpt. Zijn sets zijn meer dan alleen een mix; het zijn meeslepende verhalen vol spanning, ontlading en gedoseerde mindfucks die je de wereld in twijfel doen trekken terwijl hij tegelijk op zijn plek lijkt te vallen.

BONUS CLOSING ACT TER BEVORDERING VAN DE ONOPHOUDELIJKE ‘SECRET’ ( nu niet meer ) AFTER-to-the-AFTER-VIBES:
Van 01:15 tot 02:45 MAZOO! MAZOO is het enige alternatief voor MDMA-therapie – een jonge Nederlands/Poolse producer die met rafelige indiemuziek voor ravers een gedurfde stap zet van DJ naar frontman van een band. Samen met twee besnaarde indieheads, sloopt MAZOO elke stage met explosieve dance en ijle gitaarklanken. Eind 2025 brengt hij zijn debuutalbum uit bij [PIAS] UK. Bij Stage brengt hij deze nacht een denderende DJ set!
Eigenlijk kun je dus net zo goed heel de dag van 19:00 ( eerder mag ook ) tot 04:00 bij Stage Music Café doorbrengen!

At 19:15, Politie Warnsveld kicks things off with their ska-punk band that slams everyone out of their comfort zone with pumped-up energy and a big middle finger to pretension. They unleash mosh pits with pop songs and sweaty parties that feel like protest. No irony—just raw, genuine chaos.
With their unique mix of pop, ska-punk, and expressionist madness, they quickly rose to become one of the most essential side-acts in Dutch music. Frontman Joris van de Waterbeemd, guitarist Emile Salentijn, keyboardist Olivier Pot, and bassist Hidde Hendriks give a voice to anyone searching for an alternative to today’s despair.
At 20:30, it’s Warbuhl’s turn—a Nederhip-pop formation from Utrecht, made up of five friends with a shared goal: creating music that sparks joy. Their shows are marked by driving beats, infectious grooves, and poetic lyrics, resulting in a sound that’s both uplifting and irresistible—leaving audiences sore for days.
At 22:00, enter Fellatio: a self-proclaimed Avant-Garde Disco Punk Post-Penis Krautpop trio. One of Rotterdam’s freshest exports, they stand alongside acts like Snapped Ankles and Fat White Family in proving that Krautrock is still electrifying in the 21st century. Drawing parallels with UK contemporaries like Fat Dog and Warmduscher, they’re building a reputation for extravagant, unrestrained performances and tracks that are as poetic as they are pulsating. Is there really a band both The Fall fans and Vengaboys lovers can get behind? Thought so.
Next up, the stage belongs to M2K from 23:15 – A live dance duo consisting of producer Marnix Bausch and drummer Sam Kemner. They channel 90s underground dance inspired by The Chemical Brothers and Soulwax. Marnix produces from the chaos born of his ADHD, using it to create worlds for the dreamers who feel lost.
To keep the dancefloor on fire, Stage resident Hædon starts at 00:15 – a sonic storyteller & selector who transforms dance floors into dreamscapes and ritual mazes. Known for a cerebral approach to minimal and techno, Hædon has honed his craft through acclaimed clubs and festivals, which sharpened both his technical skills and musical intuition. His sets are more than just a mix: they’re immersive journeys full of tension, release, and calculated mindfucks, leaving crowds reeling as reality blurs back into place.

From 01:15 until 02:45 – MAZOO. The only true alternative to MDMA therapy – This young yet promising Dutch-Polish producer, who made the bold leap from DJ to band frontman, brings jagged indie music for ravers. MAZOO tears down every stage with explosive dance energy and airy guitar textures, and even implements his vocals into the mix. His debut album drops at the end of 2025 via [PIAS] UK, tonight at Stage, he’s bringing a thunderous DJ set.
So really, you might as well spend the whole evening & night—from 19:00 until 04:00 —right here at Stage Music Café.
